Project GANGA: Hinduja Group firm inks pact with UP govt to expand broadband internet, create jobs

NEW DELHI: OneOTT Intertainment (OIL), the broadband vertical of Hinduja Global Solutions, on Monday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Uttar Pradesh government’s State Transformation Commission (STC) to roll out the digital inclusion programme, Project GANGA (Government Assisted Network for Growth & Advancement).

Project GANGA aims to enable 8,000-10,000 local entrepreneurs at the Nyaya Panchayat level to operate as independent digital service providers (DSPs), providing high-speed broadband access across Uttar Pradesh.
