In a blog post shared on March 10, Huang said that the present $700 billion wave of AI data center investment is only the start of a much larger buildout. “We have only just begun this buildout,” he wrote. “Trillions of dollars of infrastructure still need to be built.” As reported by the Fortune, this figure dwarfs historic benchmarks. The figure of $700 billion is larger than the GDP of Sweden, Israel, or Argentina, and exceeds the combined value of Disney, Nike, and Target.
