Crucial to ensure Internet remains resilient, inclusive amid growing digital adoption: S Krishnan

NEW DELHI: It has become crucial to collaborate and ensure that the Internet remains open, secure, resilient, and inclusive, as digital adoption continues to grow across industry verticals, said a top official of the Ministry of Electronics & IT (MeitY).

“The Internet today has become a critical infrastructure that supports economies, public services, innovation, and everyday life across the world,” said S Krishnan, secretary, MeitY, at the ICANN85 Community Forum, organised by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) and hosted in collaboration with the National Internet Exchange of India (NIXI).
