Brands line up behind Akshay Kumar-hosted Wheel of Fortune India
Sony LIV, the streaming platform owned by Sony Pictures Networks India (SPNI), has lined up a clutch of sponsors for the Indian edition of the global game show format Wheel of Fortune, signalling advertiser interest in big-ticket entertainment properties on streaming platforms.
Maruti Suzuki India has joined the show as co-presenting sponsor, while StockGro, Maaza and Acko have signed on as partners. The show, hosted by actor Akshay Kumar, marks the franchise’s debut in India and is positioned as a large-scale family entertainment property for the platform.
