X cracks down on AI war videos: Creators face a 3-month suspension for missing labels – Check new revenue sharing rules
X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, is taking a strong stance against AI-generated videos of armed conflicts that are shared without clear labelling. From now on, creators who post AI-generated videos of wars without disclosure will face serious penalties under new rules.
Nikita Bier, X’s head of product, announced on Tuesday that any AI-created video showing armed conflicts must include a clear note that it was made with AI. “Today we are revising our Creator Revenue Sharing policies to maintain authenticity of content on Timeline and prevent manipulation of the program,” Bier said.
