MWC 2026: India seeks to shape future of AI responsibly, says Jyotiraditya Scindia

NEW DELHI: India is determined to shape the future of artificial intelligence (AI) responsibly and confidently, with the technology becoming deeply pervasive into mobile networks and architectures, said Union Minister of Communications Jyotiraditya Scindia.

“…AI for us in India is not only artificial intelligence, but it is also aspirational India. And we are determined to shape that AI future both responsibly and confidently. Intelligence is becoming embedded in our networks, and as that happens, trust, security, and inclusion must guide this transformation,” Scindia said during a session on “Built for What’s Next” at the ongoing Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2026 in Barcelona, Spain.
