Macquarie Asset Management, Gabia to invest $410 million in South Korean data centre platform

The asset management arm of Australia’s Macquarie Group said on Tuesday it will develop a ‌next-generation ⁠hyperscale data ⁠centre platform in South Korea with Gabia at a combined investment of 600 billion won ($410 million).

Under the agreement signed on February 25, the firms are set to ⁠invest over ‌the next four to six years, as ⁠the platform targets more than 100 megawatts of data-centre capacity across key metropolitan and regional locations in South Korea.
