The asset management arm of Australia’s Macquarie Group said on Tuesday it will develop a next-generation hyperscale data centre platform in South Korea with Gabia at a combined investment of 600 billion won ($410 million).
Under the agreement signed on February 25, the firms are set to invest over the next four to six years, as the platform targets more than 100 megawatts of data-centre capacity across key metropolitan and regional locations in South Korea.
