Jio Platforms taps global telecom veteran Dan Bailey to lead international push

Jio Platforms has appointed veteran telecom dealmaker Dan Bailey as President to spearhead its international expansion, marking a decisive step in the company’s ambitions beyond India.

Bailey, who will be based in London, will lead Jio’s global business initiatives and join the company’s Executive Committee. He will report to Akash Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Jio Infocomm.

The move signals the next chapter in Jio’s evolution — from a disruptive domestic telecom player to a global digital platforms powerhouse.
