Iran-Israel war: Apple temporarily closes UAE offices, retail stores as tensions escalate in Middle East
Apple has temporarily suspended operations at its corporate offices and all five retail stores in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) as a precautionary measure, especially after a sharp escalation in regional conflicts over the weekend. The operation closures align with updated guidance from the UAE Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, which urged private-sector companies to minimise employee presence in open areas, except for essential roles. The UAE administration also urged firms to shift to remote working wherever possible.
