‘India must move towards owning semiconductor IPs, creating commercial products’
NEW DELHI: India must now move decisively towards owning semiconductor IPs and creating revenue-generating products, according to the government and private industry executives.
“Chip design represents the largest value-adding segment of the semiconductor value chain and will be central to India’s technology leadership,” said Sushil Pal, joint secretary, Ministry of Electronics & IT (MeitY).
