OpenAI: Pentagon deal has stronger guardrails than Anthropic’s

OpenAI said on Saturday that its agreement with the Pentagon “has more ‌guardrails ⁠than ⁠any previous agreement for classified AI deployments, including Anthropic’s.”

Open AI firm said ​that the ⁠contract struck ‌on ​Friday ​to deploy ⁠technology in the U.S. Defense ​Department’s classified network enforces ​three red lines: no use of ‌OpenAI technology on mass domestic ​surveillance, no ​directing ⁠autonomous weapons systems and no high-stakes automated ​decisions.
