Microsoft Japan chief says company to comply with antitrust investigation: ‘Everything we do is…’

Microsoft Japan President Miki Tsusaka has said the company will cooperate with the country’s antitrust investigation into its cloud business practices. She also noted that Microsoft complies with local regulations. The comments come as Japan’s Fair Trade Commission examines whether the company limited customers’ ability to use rival cloud platforms alongside its Azure services.

Speaking at a Bloomberg event in Tokyo this week, Tsusaka said, “Japan is one of the most significant strategic markets for Microsoft, and everything we do is operated with integrity.
