Hacking group begins leaking customer data in Dutch telecom Odido hack

AMSTERDAM: The criminal group behind a hack at Dutch telecom Odido, one of the largest carried out in the Netherlands, has begun publishing customer information on the dark web, the company said on Thursday.

The theft ‌of personal ⁠data ⁠of 6 million customers from the firm, T-Mobile’s former Dutch operations, included names, telephone numbers, e-mail addresses, bank account numbers, birth dates and passport numbers. Odido said it believes the claim of the group “ShinyHunters” that it carried out the ⁠hack.
