Airtel Payments Bank rolls out instant NFC balance updates for RuPay On-The-Go cards

Airtel Payments Bank has introduced a new feature which will enable the customers to instantly check or update the balance on their RuPay On-The-Go Cards, enabled with NCMC. In order to update or check the balance, customers can simply tap the card on their NFC-powered Android smartphones, thus eliminating the need to visit metro station kiosks and enabling a seamless, fully digital and contactless transit experience.
