Microsoft, Ericsson launch AI-powered 5G laptop management for enterprises

Microsoft and Ericsson have announced a joint solution that integrates enterprise-grade 5G connectivity directly into Windows 11, promising to make laptops more secure, always connected, and easier to manage remotely. The collaboration combines Microsoft Intune with Ericsson Enterprise 5G Connect, an AI-powered platform that continuously monitors network quality and automatically adjusts connectivity for performance and security.

The new system embeds AI-based 5G management into Windows 11, enabling IT teams to automate how devices connect, seamlessly switch between communications service providers (CSPs), and enforce enterprise policies.
