Thousands report access issues as X hit by major outage

NEW DELHI: Social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, experienced a major outage Monday evening, with users in the US and India reporting difficulties accessing the service.

According to outage tracking website Downdetector, more than 40,900 reports of issues were recorded in the US at around 7.12pm (around 6am India time).
