SEPC bags ₹314 crore deal from TCIL to implement smart prepaid metering project in Punjab

NEW DELHI: SEPC has won a ₹313.96-crore order from the Telecommunications Consultants India Limited (TCIL) to implement a smart prepaid metering project in Punjab (central zone) under the Centre’s ambitious Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS), the EPC services provider said on Tuesday.

Chennai-headquartered SEPC operates across water & municipal services, roads, industrial infrastructure, and mining.

“The project will be executed on a Design, Build, Finance, Own, Operate and Transfer (DBFOOT) basis in consortium with Adya Smart Metering Private Limited, with a total project value of ₹313.96 crore,” SEPC said in a regulatory filing.
