French Thales to hire 9,000 employees globally, 450 in India in 2026

NEW DELHI: Thales will hire 9,000 new employees globally, including 3,300 in France and 450 in India this year, as the aerospace, defence and digital solutions provider looks to bolster its capabilities in new age technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI).

Around 40% of these new employees will be assigned to engineering profiles, including software and systems engineering, cybersecurity, AI, and data, and 25% to industry-oriented profiles spanning technician, operator, and engineer positions globally, according to a statement by the French Group released on Monday.
