Telcos owe Centre ₹1.77 lakh crore in AGR dues till FY25; Vodafone Idea liability at ₹89,952 crore
New Delhi: Telecom operators’ total adjusted gross revenue dues up to the financial year 2024-25 payable to the government stood at over ₹1.77 lakh crore, according to official data shared with Parliament.
The data shows that the total liability on debt-ridden Vodafone Idea (Vi) stands at ₹89,952 crore, Bharti Group ₹51,091 crore, Tata Group ₹20,426 crore, MTNL ₹14,462 crore, and Reliance Jio Infocomm ₹1,984 crore.
In the case of Vodafone Idea Limited (VIL), the AGR dues pertaining to the period from FY2006-07 to FY 2018-19 have been frozen at ₹87,695 crore.
