‘RailTel expects 8-9% telecom income growth in FY27, sees contribution from Anant Raj, TCS pacts’

NEW DELHI: Public sector firm RailTel said it expects an income growth of 8-9% in the telecom segment in the fiscal year 2027, supported by gains in the national long distance (NLD) business.

“…we have tried to find out how we can increase our telecom income. We have accordingly increased our efforts. Those efforts will certainly bring dividends, and we should be able to maintain our growth guidance in telecom income of 8 to 9% (in FY27),” Sanjai Kumar, CMD, RailTel, said during the PSU’s post-earnings conference call with analysts on Tuesday.
