Vodafone Idea shares jumped as much as 13% on Friday to ₹11.36 on BSE after the beleaguered telecom operator unveiled an ambitious turnaround plan to invest ₹45,000 crore in network deployment and aggressive marketing, promising to triple EBITDA and deliver double-digit revenue growth over FY26 to FY29 in a bold pitch.
The stock rally came as management outlined a three-year roadmap focused on sustained subscriber addition, double-digit revenue growth and tripling cash EBITDA, with plans to invest ₹45,000 crore on aggressively deploying network infrastructure. A significant portion of the spend would be executed in the next 12 to 18 months, with the capex plan targeting 4G network parity with peers in 17 priority circles.
