Airtel Africa PAT jumps 136% on-year to $586 million in 9MFY26

NEW DELHI: Bharti Airtel’s Africa business on Friday posted a profit after tax of $586 million in the nine months ended December 31, 2025, a 136.29% year-on-year growth over the $248 million it reported in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year.

The higher PAT in the period was driven by higher operating profit and derivative and foreign exchange gains of $99 million, as compared to $153 million derivative and foreign exchange losses in the prior period, Airtel Africa said in its earnings statement.
