TEC’s Tausif Abbas gets additional charge as CMD of TCIL for 3 months

NEW DELHI: The Ministry of Communications, as an interim measure, has given Syed Tausif Abbas, a senior deputy director general at the Telecommunication Engineering Centre, the additional charge of chairman and managing director of Telecommunications Consultants India Limited (TCIL) for three months, from January 27, 2026, to April 26, 2026.

However, Abbas’ appointment is pending approval from the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC), the ministry said.
