French generative artificial intelligence developer Mistral should top one billion euros ($1.2 billion) in revenue this year, chief executive Arthur Mensch said Thursday at the World Economic Forum in Davos.
That level of income would still leave Mistral, one of Europe’s leading lights in AI, far behind American competitors such as OpenAI and Anthropic — although profitability remains elusive for most of the sector.
