Davos 2026: Tata Sons set to inject $11 billion in Maharashtra AI innovation city

The Tata Group will invest $11 billion in developing a state-of-the-art “Innovation City” near the upcoming Navi Mumbai International Airport, Devendra Fadnavis, Maharashtra’s Chief Minister, told news agency ANI on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum at Davos 2026.

Speaking on the sidelines, Chief Minister Fadnavis said international investors are showing strong interest in the project. “Tata Sons has committed $11 billion to build this Innovation City, including a data center,” he told ANI.
