D2C brand Kapiva launches Rs 50 crore fund to support R&D in Ayurveda

Healthcare brand Kapiva launched a Rs 50 crore fund on Wednesday to support research and innovation in Ayurveda.

The fund is open for proposals from today, and will back projects across academia, labs, and startups that focus on ayurvedic research, product development, technology like AI in ayurveda, and more.

The cheque size for early stage research will be about Rs 50 lakh and between Rs 4-6 crore for late-stage research, the company’s founder Ameve Sharma told ET.
