Iron Mountain to develop 85MW hyperscale data center in Mumbai
NEW DELHI: Iron Mountain on Friday said it has broken ground for its new hyperscale data center campus in Mumbai, which will be designed for artificial intelligence (AI) intensive workloads.
It will have a total IT capacity of 85 megawatts (MW), and is would begin operations in 2027.
“This 85 MW Mumbai campus is a definitive statement of our commitment to provide the scale, speed-to-market, and sustainable excellence that global hyperscalers customers demand, and the infrastructure that supports India’s AI revolution,” said Rajesh Tapadia, CEO, Iron Mountain Data Centers India.
