Verizon outage: Telecom giant offers customers $20 credit, read full notice

Verizon has announced that it will issue a $20 account credit to subscribers who were impacted by January 14th nationwide service outage, which left thousands of users unable to place calls or complete transactions that relied on mobile internet connection. The telecom giant acknowledged the failure in a notice, acknowledging that it “did not meet the standard of excellence our customers expect”.
