Countries leading the AI race will have an advantage: PM Modi at Startup India event

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday said that the nation leading the artificial intelligence (AI) race will hold a decisive global advantage, and urged Indian startups to drive this to ensure the country’s economic security and autonomy.

“There are many domains coming up which will help economic security and domestic autonomy, like AI,” Modi said while addressing the National Startup Day event in New Delhi. “The country which leads the AI revolution will be advantageous. India’s startups have to take up this challenge.”
