House-help startup Pync shuts down amid fierce competition; founders to join Snabbit

In what could be an early sign of consolidation in the fast-growing instant house-help segment, Bengaluru-based Pync, backed by Accel and General Catalyst, is shutting down operations, people familiar with the matter told ET.

The company’s three founders—Harsh Prateek, Mayank Sahu and Dev Priyam—are set to join rival Snabbit in senior roles across operations and business functions, one of the people said. Around 20–25 Pync employees are also expected to join Snabbit over the coming months.
