Google announces Personal Intelligence feature in Gemini

Google on Thursday unveiled “Personal Intelligence”, a major update to its Gemini AI, to give users a personalised experience across their digital ecosystem

This new mode will allow Gemini to securely connect with a person’s Gmail, YouTube, Google Photos, and Search to offer responses that are supposedly “hyper-relevant” to their life.

Unlike standard AI interactions, Personal Intelligence will “connect the dots” between different apps. For instance, Gemini will be able to draft travel itineraries based on past vacation photos or suggest gym routines tailored to specific goals shared in previous chats.
