Help puts WhatsApp status with stolen watch, caught
BENGALURU: A WhatsApp status helped a house owner trace his missing valuables when the domestic help uploaded a photo wearing the stolen branded watch. The accused, now arrested by Bellandur police, has been identified as Soumya (26), a resident of Doddakannahalli.
The police said, Rohit (39), a senior product manager at a private company residing in an apartment on Sarjapur Road filed a complaint on January 5. He stated that on December 8 2025, a 42-gram gold mangalsutra, a pair of artificial earrings, and a Michael Kors brand watch were found missing from his house.
