Apple to reportedly launch its own AI server chips later this year
Apple is said to be working on its new AI server chips. According to popular Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple’s own AI server chips are said to enter the mass production phase in the second half of 2026. Kuo also highlighted that the company is also planning to start building and operating its own data centres in 2027. In a post shared on social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter), Kuo wrote, “Apple’s self-developed AI server chips are expected to enter mass production in 2H26, and its own data centers are expected to begin construction and operation in 2027, which may indicate that Apple anticipates significant growth in on-device AI demand starting in 2027.”
