Wipro tightens work-from-office policy; HR sends email with ‘clarification’ on minimum time employees must work from office
Software giant Wipro has reportedly tightened its work-from-office policy. According to a report in Economic Times, the company has mandated at least six hours in office for three days a week. This is a shift from the earlier flexible hours. Wipro made weekly three days of attendance at the office compulsory some time back. What has changed is the six hours of mandatory stay between two in and out punches. Wipro HR reportedly sent employees an email regarding the change in the company’s Hybrid work policy that went into effect starting January 1.
Announcing the changes to its policy, Wipro reportedly said in a recent email to employees that hybrid working continued to be the cornerstone of the future of work.
