Rs 41,863 crore boost- Dixon, Tata Tech in list of 22 electronics component PLI proposals approved- Full details
The Ministry of Electronics and IT has approved 22 new proposals under the Electronics Components Manufacturing Scheme (ECMS). PLI-linked proposals have a projected investment of Rs 41,863 crore and a production target of Rs 2,58,152 crore.
The approved proposal includes those from Dixon Technologies (India), Samsung Display, Foxconn (Yuzhan Technology India Pvt Ltd), and Hindalco Industries. The Union Minister of Electronics and IT, Ashwini Vaishnaw, gave out the approval letters to the players on Friday.
