ACC appoints Shyamal Misra as administrator of Digital Bharat Nidhi
NEW DELHI: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) on Tuesday appointed Shyamal Misra as the administrator of Digital Bharat Nidhi, Department of Telecommunications (DoT).
Misra is an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the 1996 batch from the Haryana cadre.
He succeeds Niraj Verma, an IAS officer of the 1994 batch in the Assam-Meghalaya cadre, who had been serving as the administrator of DBN since November 22, 2023.
