We’ll soon turn our calendars to 2026, looking back at the global technology landscape that underwent a profound structural shift in 2025. Artificial Intelligence (AI) became affordable, came into people’s hands in a better and faster avatar on phones and PCs, evolving from text-based one-on-one interactions to taking actions, managing tasks and start to operate autonomously across business workflows in the form of AI agents. The next year is expected to bring a radical change with AI slowly becoming the underlining technology in all industries – whether its robotics or consumer technology products.
Tech giants believe that the year of “assistive AI” will give way to an age of Agentic AI and Connected Intelligence, and 2026 will be the year when technology stops being a tool that humans operate and starts becoming a partner that operates alongside them.
