OpenAI CEO Sam Altman predicts ‘sky-high’ salaries by 2035, but only after ….
OpenAI CEO Sam Altman recently said that the coming decade could be the “most exciting time in the history” to start a career. In an interview with video journalist Cleo Abram, Altman predicted that a student finishing college in 2035 might not take a normal job like the current generation. Instead, they could be working in a brand new, highly paid space job – maybe even joining a mission to explore the solar system. Predicting sky high salaries for the future generation, he said that these “well-paid” roles will come after AI has wiped some jobs entirely, reshaping the early-career landscape for today’s workspace.
“In 2035, that graduating college student, if they still go to college at all, could very well be leaving on a mission to explore the solar system on a spaceship in some completely new, exciting, super well-paid, super interesting job,” said Sam Altman.
