NEW DELHI: India’s telecom sector experienced a massive boom in 2025, thanks to the nationwide rollout of 5G services, which reached nearly every corner of the country. This transformation was fueled by the government’s “Make in India” initiative, boosting local manufacturing and creating thousands of jobs.
The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) highlighted this period as a significant leap forward, driven by better digital infrastructure and a focus on self-reliance.
