Microsoft AI CEO Mustafa Suleyman has revealed that his mission is to make the company “self-sufficient” in developing frontier artificial intelligence (AI) models. This will help the software giant in building “an absolutely world-class superintelligence team,” he said. Speaking on the “Moonshots with Peter Diamandis” podcast, Suleyman claimed: “We’re absolutely pushing for the frontier. We want to build the best superintelligence and the safest superintelligence models in the world.”
Last month, Suleyman said his team is “trying to build a humanist superintelligence” aligned with human interests.
