Australian Megaport buys Extreme IX to foray into Indian Internet Exchange market
NEW DELHI: Australian network-as-a-service (NaaS) provider Megaport has forayed into the Indian market with the acquisition of Internet Exchange platform, Extreme IX, for an undisclosed sum.
Extreme IX said in a statement on Thursday that it carries the highest Internet Exchange traffic in India exceeding 4Tbps, and interconnects more than 400 networks across seven cities and 49 locations.
