AWS CEO Matt Garman recently spoke to Wired. In the long interview, Garman answered a range of questions, including many on how AI is shaping the technology industry, its workforce and where Amazon stands in the industry. Replying to a question on if Amazon has not been a key part of a lot of AI narratives worry him? Also does he worry about Amazon not being in that narrative. Replying to the same, Garman said, “I think both of those things are true. I do worry about it, because I don’t want customers to think we’re not innovating or driving the latest technologies they need. I want to make sure that it’s not just headline-grabbing stuff and it’s actually great.”
