Vodafone Idea raises Rs 3,300 crore via NCDs to fund growth
Vodafone Idea on Thursday said it has raised Rs 3,300 crore through the issuance of secured non-convertible debentures, providing the cash-strapped telecom operator with additional finances to step up network investments.
The fundraise was executed through Vodafone Idea Telecom Infrastructure Limited (VITIL), a subsidiary of the company, which issued unlisted and unrated NCDs, said the telco in an exchange filing.
