India extends IT import management system by 1 year
New Delhi: India on Wednesday extended the validity of the Import Management System (IMS) for import of certain IT hardware for another year till December 31, 2026.
These products include laptops, tablets, all-in-one personal computers, ultra small form factor computers and servers.
In a policy circular, the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) said the application portal will be open from December 22, 2025 to December 15, 2026.
