Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan bats for gradual semicon growth for India
As India deepens its push to join the global semiconductor manufacturing race, Intel chief executive Lip-Bu Tan believes the country’s strategy of incremental progress, starting with legacy node fabrication targeted at automotive and industrial applications, may be the right one.
He said he believes India’s semiconductor fabrication effort will be better served by this approach.
