TRAI launches pilot to give customers control over promotional messages
The pilot, a joint initiative with the Reserve Bank of India, involves nine telecom service providers and eleven major banks including SBI, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, PNB, Kotak Mahindra Bank, IndusInd Bank, Canara Bank, Bank of Maharashtra, Indian Overseas Bank, and Punjab & Sind Bank.
