Agarwal also spoke about competing in the cash-guzzling quick commerce space, saying that the expansion plan was anchored to its subscription-based loyalty programme, Prime. “Our expansion isn’t tied to a fixed city count,” he said. “It’s centred on Prime-dense clusters. We want to cover the largest percentage of Prime members with that service.” He was given the additional responsibility of heading markets outside India in March 2022.
