Bring back Indian engineers for semicon manufacturing boost: Intel CEO
India should focus on bringing back top engineers and chip design talent working in companies such as Qualcomm, Intel and Texas Instruments in the US and elsewhere to develop world-class semiconductor manufacturing, said Lip-Bu Tan, global chief executive of Intel Corporation.
“Prime Minister (Narendra) Modi’s semiconductor policy is well thought through, and the company is committed to support the effort,” Tan told ET in an exclusive interview on Wednesday, a day after he met the PM.
