BlinkIt CEO Albinder Dhindsa hints at user experience and discount changes coming to quick commerce
Blinkit CEO Albinder Dhindsa has given a hint at how the quick commerce space in India is going to change in the coming days. In a recent interview, the chief executive of the Zomato-owned Blinkit, which is the largest quick commerce service in India, hinted that major changes to user experience and discounting strategies are on the cards for the company. Dhindsa indicated that the quick commerce sector is rapidly reaching a shakeout as competitors face dwindling capital, and said Blinkit will not just survive but prosper and continue expanding.
He also said the current model of the industry, heavily reliant on continuous fundraising, has reached a limit that is forcing companies to address steep operating losses and high costs related to supply chain complexity.
