Realme plans to manufacture AIoT products in India by 2027

NEW DELHI: Chinese smartphone brand Realme plans to start manufacturing its entire range of AIoT (Artificial Intelligence of Things) products — including smartwatches, earbuds, and accessories in India by 2027, according to a company executive.

The company has already partnered with India’s Optiemus Electronics Limited (OEL) to manufacture Realme’s AIoT devices in India.It is scaling its market position in the AIoT, aiming to be amongst the top AIoT brands in India within the next 2-3 years.

Realme will enhance its Research & Development (R&D) operations and make substantial investments in India-led design and testing infrastructure to co-create its next generation of AIoT devices.
